On February 17, Jeong Soon-mo, the Chairman of the Board, gave a special lecture in Woonjae room in Euiyang Hall.The lecture started with President Synn’s introduction, titled, “Keimyung Foundation Motto and the history of Keimyung University.” Chairman Jeong also gave a speech regarding Keimyung’s foundation ideology - ‘For the Kingdom of Truth, Justice and Love.’Chairman Jeong finished the lecture with his hope that Keimyung will develop and help to write history.
On January 29, the Multicultural Social Institute was selected as the agency for running social adaptation programs for immigrants by the Ministry of Justice. The center started to manage a variety of programs for multi-cultural families in February. Programs for immigrants are to provide immigrants who want to acquire citizenship with educational benefits. Keimyung Dongsan Medical Center has completed the construction of the School of Medicine and the College of Nursing. On February 5, a building dedication ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of construction 500 guests attended including Cha Soon-do, the director of Dongsan Medical Center, Jeong Soon-mo, the Chief of the Board of Directors, and President Synn Il-hi. The School of Medicine and College of Nursing start their new semester in the new building on Sung seo campus.
