The Introduction of Unmanned Automatic Interviewing Machine

As the importance of interviews is getting much bigger, the need for interview practice among job-seekers is increasing. To respond to such needs, Keimyung University has introduced an automated interviewing machine.

Students using this machine can take practice types of interviews they need by having one-to-one interviewing with an imaginary interviewer. It is estimated that approximately fifty people use this system every day.

There are 2000 questions listed according to category in the self interviewing system, and it also has a database of interview questions commonly used in the actual interviews of small and large companies. Students can record themselves, and see how they did for self-evaluation. In addition, they can save the file on a USB device, so they can show it to an expert for rating. This system also has an English language version. A member of the job placement office said, “By the actual results of using this service and feedback from it, we will provide students with more chance to practice their interviewing skills.”
