On July 16, volunteers from the Keimyung University Maintenance Team donated eight million won, which they collected by selling waste paper and empty cans, to the university.

Since November 2000, they have periodically donated money to help students in difficult economic situations and old people who live alone.

Jang Han-soo, the head of the volunteers in Seongseo campus, said, “We feel proud of our volunteer work when we realize that such seemingly useless materials can be a big help to our neighbors in difficult situations. We will continue to do these volunteer activities.”
