Episode Team Bring the “Digital Korean Wave” to Zimbabwe

The Episode Team from the Korea Internet Volunteers performed volunteer work in Zimbabwe for a month starting on July 14. Every holiday, the Episode Team publicizes Korea and Korean culture. As such, local people can easily understand Korea culture.

The Episode Team consisted of four Keimyung University students. They went to Telone Education Center which is located in Zimbabwe’s capital Harare. Local people came to the team to learn about IT education. The team made two groups, and local people learned intranet, programming, photo shop, making homepages, and assembling computers from 9 am to 5 pm.

The team came back to Korea on August 18. As soon as they came back, they made a UCC about volunteering in Zimbabwe. Many netizens have enjoyed this UCC.
