On November 29 and 30, Keimyung University’s Office of International Cooperationhosted an Employment Skills Enhancement Camp in Gyeongju for international students. The camp aimed to equip participants with essential
knowledge and strategies for navigating the Korean job market.
The program focused on three core topics: crafting effective resumes and cover letters, understanding Korean interview culture, and navigating the employment process. Participants learned practical job-search techniques tailored to Korean corporate environmentsand were introduced to commonly used Korean software tools in the workplace.
Training sessions on interview skills provided valuable insights into interview etiquette, appropriate behavior, and effective communication strategies to leave a positive impression. Designed to bridge cultural differences, the program prepared students to succeed in Korea-specific interview scenarios.
Additionally, counseling sessions emphasized career planning and document preparation. Participants received guidance on setting realistic career goals and overcoming challenges unique to international students in Korea.
