Hangeulnal Competitions held to promote Hangeu

KeimyungUniversitycelebratedthe578thHangeulDaybyhostingvarious programsfor internationalstudentsto promote the value of Hangeul. Theprogramsincludedactivitiessuchas aHangeulnamedecorationcontest andaKoreanlanguagequiz competition.Theuniversityhasheldthis event annually since 2008 to raise awareness of the excellence of Hangeul and help international students become more familiar with it. Over 260 internationalstudents participated, and 11 outstanding artworks were awarded at a ceremonyonOctober8th.Additionally, aKoreanlanguagequiz contest with over 1,200 participants was held, reflecting international students’ growing interest in Hangeul and Korean culture. sumin8101g@hanmail.net
