Why don't you join us at this year's special event where we can enjoy the living spirit of Korean Traditional Culture in Goryeong, the home of Daegaya Culture.

Date & Time: October 28(Sat.) 2006 from 9AM to 6PM

Place: Goryeong County(Gaesil Village & Museum of Daegaya)
* Daegu City Hall to Goryeong County takes 1 hour by car

Programs:
- Visiting the Museum of Daegaya & Royal tomb Pavilion
- Making Korean traditional glutinous rice jelly (yeot)
- Making Korean Traditional Crafts (egg basket with rice straw)
- Roasting sweet potatoes
- Korean Traditional Games Contest

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design
French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.
