2008 A Conferment of Degrees Ceremony


On February 12, a conferment of degrees ceremony was held in Adams Chapel. About 3000 graduates, their families and congratulators packed the campus.

In the first part of the ceremony, a total of 903 graduates (677 masters, 119 doctorates, and 107 non-degrees) received their degree and/or diploma.

The second part of the ceremony was the conferment of honorary doctorates. Synn Il-hee, as the 9th president of Keimyung University, awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Political Science and an Honorary Doctorate of Business Administration to Kim Moo-yun and Ham Jeong-woong respectively.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
