A rumor that a suspicious man haunts our campus has been spreading recently. A flasher was recorded to have appeared in the fifth and the sixth exits of Keimyung University Subway Station and 6 sexual assaults were reported over 4 months in Shindang-dong. However, due to police patrols over that time, there haven't been any assaults reported in the studio-apartment complex around the campus. On September 7 in Leegok-dong, a sexual assault occurred and the offender was arrested. Accordingly, we need to improve the present condition of public security and crime prevention in and around Keimyung
About 30 Activity Clubs recruited new members under the sponsorship of the club union in front of the old Bauer Hall between September 4 and 8. It was for students who did not join any clubs in the frist semester. On September 5, a seminar entitled, "Tips to attend online virtual lectures effectively" was held in the multimedia room in the annex of Bauer Hall by the Center for Teaching & Learning. The International Sculpture Symposium was held on the small playground of Seongseo Campus from August 16 to August 30.
