On September 5, KMU Vice President Kim Young-il donated ten million won to flood sufferers in Ulleungdo. In addition, KMU promised to send volunteers to repair the flood damage if needed. President Synn Ilhi said, “Recently, Ulleungdo had much heavy rain, so they had many problems with flood damage. Our school prepared money for Ulleungdo citizens who lost their homes. I hope this donation will help them to mend their lives, and I will give scholarships to students whose parents live in Ulleungdo. Then they will not worry about tuition or school life.”

On August 17, an exhibition by graduating KMU landscape architecture students was held in Dongsan Hall’s 3rd gallery on the Daemyung Campus.Fourteen impressive works about the DMZ and reunification were exhibited. KMU Archery Team shows its power as ‘top of the university archery team’.The team got six gold medals such as three silver medals and three bronze medals in the 19th Korean University Archery Championship.He got medals for solo, team, mixed team, 70m and 90m. The 16th ‘Dream and Hopeful Harmony’ Concert was held in Bauer Hall on KMU’s Sungseo Campus.
