Jeong Jae-hoon, who is a student of Keimyung University, was the best performer in the Samsung Young Campus Reporter competition. He is a junior in the College of Social Sciences and his major is Consumer Information Science. Twenty-five Keimyung University students got scholarships from the Chinese government. The 2012 Korean Language and Culture Training Camp were held for three weeks from August 6 to August 24. 170 foreign students from Germany, Japan, France, and the United Kingdom participated in this camp. The students in the camp visited Korea to learn about Korean culture and language. Classes consisted of Korean culture classes such as graded Korean language lessons, hanbok experience, samulnori, taekwondo, traditional crafts, and traditional food of Korea. Also they visited Korean heritage sites such as Gyeongju, Yeongju, and Cheongdo to see historic sites and to experience Korean culture.
