The 5th International Youth Festival


The 2008 Daegu International Youth Festival was held under the auspices of the Office of International Affairs from August 12 to 18 in Keimyung University, Daegu City, and Gyeongsangbuk-do. In this festival, 113 students participated: thirty students from Keimyung University and eighty three foreign students from ten countries with cities affiliated as sister-cities to Daegu City.

Starting from the opening ceremony, held on August 12, various programs like a campus tour, lectures on the Korean language, a field trip to Donghwasa, samulnori, and meetings with home stay families took place. Keimyung University was selected as the supervising school for the second time since it was first chosen in 2006.
