Bisa Daedongje, entitiled "2008 Three Days and Two Nights Festival," was held under the auspices of the 45th General Student Council (GSC) on Seong-seo campus from May 27 to 29.

This festival consists of various events including a classical concert and a magic show as well as job fair-related lectures and other well-being related activities.

Kim Chang-hoon, the president of GSC, said, "We decided to use the whole of Seong-seo campus as the place for festival so that as many Keimyung students as possible can participate in the festival."

In addition, to promote innovative jumak (drinking tents) and a clean environment, an award was given for the best jumak and fines for littering were introduced.

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design
French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.

Many Gen-Zs would respond with Korean Idol groups or celebrities due to their connection with K-music, K-dramas, and K-movies. Alongside the rise in popularity of K-pop and K-dramas, many individuals have become extremely interested in Korean food recently. Kimchi, for example, has been a trending food in media across nations.  Have you ever tried a delicious side dish called kimchi? Kimchi can be a main dish or a side dish. or even a condiment in Korean cuisine. Kimchi is a traditional ‘banchan,’ meaning side dish in Korean, which i
