Keimyung University Entrusted with Invitation Program for Foreign Students

Keimyung University was entrusted with the ‘Invitation and Management of Korean Government Scholarship Program’ by the National Institute for International Education Development (NIIED).

The foreign students invited can have a great advantage from receiving a one year Korean language course, a full 4 year scholarship for a bachelor’s degree course, air-fare, living expenses, and medical insurance premiums. Keimyung University has made such great efforts in submitting a report regarding its globalization strategy and its facilities on February 2nd, and it also received a spot visit for the program.

An alliance with 170 foreign universities for exchange student programs, KISS (Keimyung International Sarang Scholarship), and CCAP (Cross-Cultural Awareness Program) ensured that Keimyung achieved reasonably good grades in the international supporting system. Through this brilliant deed every year, Keimyung can get at least 10 additional foreign students. Prof. Kim Sin-hae, ‘Chief of International Affairs’, said, “Through this program, we can develop a special international strategy and strong infrastructure for attracting more foreign students to Korea.”
