Department of Engineering Gets the Highest Mark

Keimyung University’s Department of Electronic Engineering got the highest mark from the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK).

This year, all eleven engineering departments got the best grade. Students who entered our university in 2007 can get the accreditation. Students who entered before 2007 require 18 credits in cultural studies in engineering, 30 credits in foundation engineering courses, and 60 credits in major studies in engineering for petition accreditation for engineering education.

No Seung-baek, a professor in the Chemical Engineering Department, said, “The highest mark from ABEEK means the Engineering Department in Keimyung University satisfied international standards in the engineering field, and we will continue to try to produce engineering experts.”
