The Vietnamese ambassador to Korea, H.E. Pham Tien Van, gave a lecture in Hengso Museum on September 6. This lecture’s subject was “Fifteen years of Korean and Vietnamese cooperation.”
The ambassador gave the lecture in Korean. At first, he spoke about Vietnam’s geographical position, history, and economy. Then he spoke about diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam. He said that Vietnam has had active exchanges with Korea in investment, trade, tourism, labor relations, and culture for the last fifteen years because Korea is near Vietnam and the two countries have similar cultures and thought. Also he said that if Korea’s technique and Vietnam’s labor and resources are combined, it will be very useful for each of them. Finally, he said that he wants Korea and Vietnam to keep their friendship and to become exemplary brother countries in Asia.
