The Department of Photo Design wins prizes




Many students who study in the Department of Photo Design win prizes for taking part in art exhibitions. The art exhibitions this time were the Iron and Steel Picture Contest in 2007, the 28th Great Modern Art Exhibition, and the 8th National Cultural Picture Contest.

In the Iron and Steel Picture Contest in 2007, Lee Jae-won (senior) won a silver prize with a work named “Steel Composition.” In the 28th Great Modern Art Exhibition, Choi Geum-ok won first prize with a work named “Where We Go.” In addition, in the 8th Whole Country Cultural Picture Contest, 12 students won prizes besides Jeong Min-yung, who won a gold prize with a work named “Romance.”

A ceremony for awarding prizes was held at Green Cable Television Station’s Art Hall on July 12 at 5 p.m. In addition, pictures that won prizes were displayed at Green Cable Television Station’s Gallery until July 18.

Sarang Room Sarang Room is a space where students of Keimyung University's Korean Language Institute can study or relax. Sarang Room is located in Dongyeong Hall Room 315, 3rd floor of Keimyung University's Seong-seo Campus, and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every day. Education on the use of Dongsan Library for foreign students Education on the use of Dongsan Library for foreign students will be held in the complex media reception room on the 3rd floor. Beginner courses will be held on Friday, April 5th, and advanced classes will be held on April 12th. The training includes information on facilities and services available at Dongsan Library, guidance on Korean learning materials, thesis similarity tests, and so on. After scanning the poster QR code, students can fill out the application form.
