Keimyung University Business Incubation Center Receives Seventh Consecutive Award for Excellence


The Korean Small and Medium Business Administration evaluates all business incubation (BI) centers annually. Keimyung University's BI center has received the top grade for seven consecutive years.

The seven best BI centers this year include Kyungpook National University's BI center and Yeungnam College of Science & Technology's BI center. Among the seven best centers, Keimyung University's BI center is the only one to get the top grade for seven consecutive years. As a result, Keimyung University's BI center will get 45 million won from the Small and Medium Business Administration.

Keimyung University's BI center has held special events to sell their products 16 times since 2003, supported small and medium businesses with technology management and marketing strategies, supported university enterprise club, and offered new courses related to opening a business.

Kim Young-moon, director of Keimyung University BI center said, "We are planning to make more efforts to help entrepreneurs, and specifically help couples and one-parent families open new businesses. Now we are in the process of making computer-based videos on the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for starting a new business, which we are going to provide in July."
