A Special Lecture by Son Seok-hee

Keimyung University's Career Development Center for College Women invited Son Seok-hee, a professor lecturing at Sungshin Women's University and a popular TV celebrity, to give a lecture on March 30 in the annex of Bauer Hall.

He lectured on women’s images and expected roles in organizations. He spoke about how women's roles have changed in society during his working life and explained how to improve women’s roles in society.

He said that the women’s roles in society are changing thanks to the efforts of feminists. He also said that some highly educated women develop a sense of elitism that results in them losing interest in improving society. Therefore, they can increase participation in society by reducing their attitude of elitism. Students were impressed by his lecture and afterwards discussed society’s problems.
