The Nursing and Music Faculties Receive Best Evaluations

The Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) evaluated the academic fields of English Language and Literature, Public Administration, Food Science and Nutrition, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Nursing, and Music across all Korean universities. KCUE selected Keimyung University’s faculties of Nursing and Music as the best in their fields.

The four music departments of Orchestral Instruments, Voice, Composition, and Piano received the best evaluations in the following four areas: education, student performance, educational environment, and development. Our Nursing Faculty also received the best evaluation in the following areas: curriculum, theory, practicum, student performance, and student-professor ratio. Keimyung University was the only university in the Yeongnam and Honam regions to receive best evaluations.

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design
French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.
National Kimchi Day What first comes to your mind when you think of South Korea? Many Gen-Zs would respond with Korean Idol groups or celebrities due to their connection with K-music, K-dramas, and K-movies. Alongside the rise in popularity of K-pop and K-dramas, many individuals have become extremely interested in Korean food recently. Kimchi, for example, has been a trending food in media across nations.  Have you ever tried a delicious side dish called kimchi? Kimchi can be a main dish or a side dish. or even a condiment in Korean cuisine. Kimchi is a traditional ‘banchan,’ meaning side dish in Korean, which i
