The Entrance Ceremony and the Graduation Ceremony in 2007



The 2007 entrance ceremony was held in the main gymnasium on February 28. Five thousand and thirty two new students began their life at Keimyung University. President Lee Jin-woo said, “Welcome to Keimyung University. I hope that all freshmen will have a great campus life in Keimyung and will be competent people in a global world.”

The 2007 graduation ceremonies were held on Seongseo, Deamyung, and Dongsan campuses on February 21 and 22. Graduate schools held their graduation ceremonies in Adams Chapel on February 21. Seventy-nine graduates received doctorates and 679 graduates received master’s degrees.

In total, 3,718 students received bachelor’s degrees including 280 from the Faculty of Social Sciences, 453 from the Faculty of Business Administration, 322 from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and 412 from the Faculty of Engineering. The Gazette hopes that all graduates will enter society successfully.
