A New International Program for Keimyung University

The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) was established in 1948 in London to offer researchers studying science and engineering the chances to study abroad, gain international experience, and promote their specialities. Keimyung University joined IAESTE in early 2007.

Nowadays, many famous universities and companies are involved with IAESTE. They include Harvard University, Yale University, Oxford University, Berlin University, Tokyo University, 3M, IBM, GE, and Sanyo Chemical Industries. Due to KMU joining IAESTE, our students now have more chances to study abroad and gain international experience.

Once selected for IAESTE, you choose the company, research institution, or university and then you are selected as a staff member after interning for one year. Students studying Natural Sciences and Business Administration can also apply to IAESTE from March to June. In addition, students studying at other universities can also apply to IAESTE.
