Keimyung University gives scholarships to students who travel abroad to visit international organizations, multinational corporations, government agencies, or universities for the purpose of pursuing their major. On February 5, the Overseas Culture Reporting Program published a book of reports submitted by the scholarship students.
The book depicts students' concern about art, society, and welfare throughout Asia, America, and Europe. The Overseas Culture Reporting Program is going to publish the book every year. A copy of the book will be supplied to each department to help motivate students.
Pak Nam-hyeon, the former Dean of Students, said, "Keimyung University doesn't want the program to become simply a scholarship giving program, but we hope it will be a systematic program that makes students' travel more useful to their studies and academic growth."
