At the 87th National Sports Festival, Keimyung University contributed to Daegu's good results with 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 3 bronze medals.
One hundred and forty six students from Keimyung University participated in 13 sports including baseball, archery, judo, track and field, taekwondo, and tennis. Our archers earnt the best results with 2 gold medals, a silver medal, and a bronze medal. Archer Lee Hyo-kyoung won a gold medal and a silver medal. The other medals won by Keimyung students were a gold for tennis, two silvers for track and field and a bronze each for judo and taekwondo.
Kim Jang-hwan, the College of Physical Education dean said, "The students did their best despite not very good conditions and facilities. I thank the players for their excellent results."
