It’s a little bit difficult to make new friends but I’m trying. Many Korean people are shy, so talking with them is difficult sometimes. My tip on making new friends is, “Don’t be shy.” Because I am too shy to talk with other people, sometimes I want to talk but I’m too shy to do so. So, don’t be shy, it’s not a problem. We don’t have to hesitate to talk to other people. I usually start the conversation by asking questions to them, like what their major is and what they do in Keimyung University. After these, I would probably ask about what they do outside the KMU, where they live, and some more basic questions like that.
