Keimyung Reading Certification System

 

Applications for the Keimyung Reading Certification System for the second semester of the 2021 school year began to be received on October 4.
The purpose of the Keimyung Reading Certification System is to encourage students to be interested in reading, such as encouraging students to read, strengthening the reading surroundings, and reading education, and diversifying liberal arts education.
It is expected that the Keimyung reading certification system will strengthen students' employment capabilities, such as writing self-introductions and preparing for interviews. In addition, it is expected that the participation rate of reading-related programs in the school will increase, and practical talent training and social contribution through confidence in liberal arts education performance will be expected.
Participants can apply from 1 to 14 books to the certificate program each semester. To receive the reading certification, students’ must-read books about the applied book and meet the evaluation criteria. Participants in the reading certification system will be rewarded according to th their performance.
If the criteria for each level are met, a KMU BEST READER certificate will be issued. Certificates have ratings, and there are participation programs related to certificate issuance such as reading discussion club, reading quiz contest, and a book report contest)
