To celebrate family month in May, Hengso Museum gave open lectures about a folk painting story. This lecture occurred over 3 dates. On May 5th the title of the folk painting was Full of Happiness, on the 22nd the lecture was about the court painting from the Joseon Dynasty period, and on the 29th the Joseon Dynasty period folk tiger painting. These lectures occurred between 14~16pm on the dates mentioned, and attendance was free.
Folk paintings were drawn by unknown artists who tried to decorate their living spaces or follow customs. This gave evidence as a symbol of desire for happiness and formative aspects. The most typical work is Tiger which was painted by Kim Heng Do.
