The musical, ‘Nabucco’, by the Italian composer G. Verdi was performed at the Keimyung Art Center May 20- 22, 2019. This musical is an adaptation of the biblical story of King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon. The third act, "The Chorus of Hebrew Slaves," is considered a masterpiece that will remain significant in the history of music. About 300 professors, alumnus and students from the College of Music and Performing Arts from KMU participated as choirs, performers and orchestras, adding to the significance of our school's 120th anniversary celebration. By utilizing the university's cultural and artistic capabilities and infrastructure, the participants were able to promote self-esteem as a member of the family of Keimyung through this large musical performance.
