The Keimyung University orchestra and choir were on stage for the first time as a non-capital college at the 2016 University of Seoul Arts Festival. The concert of orchestras and choirs at Keimyung University was held on November 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Seoul Arts Center.
The "University Opera Festival," which marks the fifth anniversary since its inception in 2013, is the only stage in Korea where you can meet orchestras of major music universities in Korea. The Seoul Arts Center's autumn festival, which followed The Symphony Festival in April, was praised by the audience for the improvements made and the orchestras’ solid performances. It was appreciated by classical music lovers as well as audience members in their 20s and 30s. There were performances by Seoul National University, Korea National University of Arts, Kyunghee University, Yonsei University, Sookmyung Women's University, Hanyang University, and Keimyung University in this year’s festival from October 30 to November 8.
