The 119th KMU Foundation Ceremony



The 119th Foundation Day of KMU was held in Adams Chapel May18,2018, and it was attended by all school personnel. President Shin Il-Hee, the president of KMU, took part in the ceremony with a congratulatory speech.

A prayer quoted from Isaiah 41:10 was presented during the ceremony: "So do not fear, I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. All personnel were asked to keep this phrase in mind and also shared a prayer together. For this event, Klaudiusz Baran, the president of the National Chopin University in Poland, also attended and gave his congratulations. After the prayer, for people who contributed to the university, KMU awarded prizes and commendations, such as the Model Award and the Achievement Award.

The singing during the ceremony was the 'Song of Toast' from the opera, 'La Travita'. As the University was established by a Christion Foundation, the closing ceremony ended with a psalm.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
