Nightingale Pledge Ceremony



The 2018 College of Nursing Nightingale Pledge Ceremony was held at Johnson Hall on March 9th, 2018. It is a ritual performed by the third year nursing students who have completed two years of basic nursing education. The Nightingale Pledge has been made in the USA since 1893. It is a ceremony where Nursing students pledge nursing ethics and nursing principles, and on that day, students lit candles promising to do their best in nursing. They keep the nightingale spirit in mind before doing practice. The Nightingale Pledge includes a commitment to look after patients and continue the nightingale spirit and is a first step to becoming a nurse.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team. In addition, the event was held for foreign students, and the event was held in hopes of cheering for international students studying hard for their first midterm exams in the second semester.
