Keimyung University held a completion ceremony for a training program for Daegu-Gyeongbuk plant engineers on August 31st. The educational training was started at KMU by the government to develop its human resources as well as to forge mechanical and piping systems, chemical processes and for the engineering and construction industry to learn the executive abilities of the design process, skill, procurement, and construction.
KMU had provided training for 35 hours over 50 days from June 30th to August 31st. The training consisted of metier curriculum and field practices with practitioners. It achieved the desired results and 20 students received certification. All students will receive special consideration when companies conduct hiring sessions. Of the training, 2 students have already found a job and another student is currently doing an internship.
