On October 7, the Gukje Forum was held at Keimyung University’s Gukje Art Museum. The Gukje Forum was founded in honor of Jeong Jeum-sik, and named as such to commemorate his accomplishments and dedication to the College of Fine Art.
The forum’s theme of creativity and innovation was chosen to celebrate the 100 anniversary of Gukje’s birth. Keimyung university students had an opportunity to engage in conversations and debates with international artists, designers, curators and art educators at the forum. Specialists in the fields of art and design provided a more global perspective to students. This forum was open to not only students, but also the general public.
