A special lecture was held on March 29 at New Bauer Hall. The theme was world travel and entrepreneurship. The writer Ryu Kwang-hyun has traveled to 31 countries and listened to the stories of Korean CEOs who have lived in foreign countries. His purpose was learning entrepreneurship from Korean CEOs in different countries and companies. He met CEOs in small and large enterprises and many different industries like agriculture, livestock and lodging.
His travel story is more unique and interesting to students because instead of spending his own money, he was sponsored by CEOs. He has always tried to find special and unique challenges for achieving his goals. He said, “I gained earnest knowledge and new perspectives from the CEOs.” Finally, he explained to the students that success depends on your own attitude, so don’t compare yourself with others, rather check your attitude.
