2014 Baja SAE Korea



The 2014 Baja SAE Korea for undergraduates was held in Yeungnam University from July 3 to 5. The Speeding team, composed of students in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering in KMU, participated in this competition.

In 2001, this competition received the approval of the Society of Automotive Engineers. Then it was promoted to an international competition. In this competition, participants use their own vehicles that are equipped with motorcycle engines and compete in speed racing and driving ability. The Korean Society of Automotive Engineers and the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association co-sponsored this competition. Forty-three teams including teams from the Bangalore Institute of Technology and the Maharashtra Institute of Technology participated.

The KMU Speeding team won three prizes in rock climbing, acceleration, and recognition of their effort during the competition. They are planning to participate in KSAE Baja and Formula 2014 in Gunsan in August.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
