Photo Exhibition of Volunteering in Laos


Keimyung University volunteers held a photo exhibition documenting the 2013 volunteering in Laos at CU Gallery. In the exhibition, there were pictures of volunteering and cultural performances at Van Chein Elementary School in Vientiane, Laos.

Keimyung University sent 140 students to Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Laos for two weeks. They did volunteering such as remodeling classrooms and playgrounds and educational volunteering such as teaching children and taekwondo.

Students made money for the exhibition themselves. They displayed pictures to show how they felt during the volunteering and their memories of volunteering. They also did fundraising for children’s welfare in Daegu during the exhibition.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
