Competitive Menu Development Exhibition


On January 19, the Healing Food Project Team of Keimyung University held a Menu Development competition at Hotel The Palace in Daegu. About 30 people, including representatives of Daegu, Mungyeong, Cheongsong Agricultural Technology Center and WellSpoon business, attended this competition where they tasted, evaluated and developed various food items.

The Healing Food Project Team has held 5 contests and has developed 105 food items for the Healing Food menu since January. Two features of the menu they developed are using natural seasoning instead of MSG and reducing calories.

Seo Yeong-seong, chief of the Healing Food Project Team said, “Healing Food Project will promote consumption of local agricultural products and specialties and contribute to the regional economy.”
