Global Major Field Experience


Keimyung University students have an opportunity to get experience in their majors. This program, Keimyung Global Major Field Experience, is provided by the Advancement for College Education (ACE) office. The purpose of this program is to improve students’ international capabilities through major field study in advanced countries.

Participating students will have a workshop with their academic advisors for two weeks. In the workshop, students will research the universities or corporations to visit. After those activities, students will receive some field education and take part in training programs at the universities or corporations. Students will visit Paris Expo, KotraKorea Business Center (KBC), Domus Academy and Milano Unica, Salone Italiano del Tessile, based on their majors.

Keimyung University provides three million won scholarships for each student. This program has been conducted for three years and has received high scores in program satisfaction from participating students. 336 students from 34 teams and 217 students from 16 teams participated in the program in 2012 and 2013, respectively. This year, 105 students from 7 teams are participating in the program.

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students. The event was hosted by KMU's International Student Council and the International Cooperation Team.
