Huh Kyung-mi, a KMU Professor, Receives the Presidential Citation


Huh Kyung-mi, a Keimyung University professor in the Department of Police Administration, was awarded the Presidential Citation as part of the commemoration of the 68th anniversary of the police. Professor Huh got credit for contributing to the selection talented police officers and for being actively involved in promoting police officers.

She is active in the field of police administration and public order and safety. For example, she is the civil inspector commissioner of the Daegu Metropolitan Police Agency, the woman police policy research president of the Korean Police Studies Association, and the vice-president of the Korea Association of Criminal Psychology.

Professor Huh received a master’s degree and doctorate from Dongguk University. She has taught in the Department of Police Administration at Keimyung University since 2002. She awarded the KMU Best Teacher Award in 2009.
