The Keimyung University Taekwondo demonstration team is getting attention as an envoy of Korea. The Keimyung University Taekwondo demonstrations team, which is made up Department of Taekwondo students, performed a Taekwondo demonstration at the Istanbul-Gyeongju World Culture Expo for one month.

Keimyung University Taekwondo demonstration team is the only Taekwondo demonstration team in a Daegu-Gyeongbuk area university and is valued as the best among domestic demonstration team.

Since last year, the demonstration team performed Taekwondo in the USA, Austria and Vietnam. Audiences were especially fascinated by their well-ordered action and magnificent skills at the Istanbul Expo.

Professor Choi Seong-gon who leads the demonstration team said, “The Taekwondo demonstration team is a model of the Korean wave. Some students on the Turkish demonstration team who performed with us wanted to study at Keimyung University.”
