KMU-Uiseong High School Mutual Assistance Agreement


Keimyung University takes the lead to help rural area schools that lack in educational and cultural opportunities. Interested people of both parties, including President Jeong Hyeonhui of the College of Education and Principal Lee Sehyeong of Uiseong High School, met in the main conference room in Youngam Hall September 11th. There they concluded a mutual assistance agreement in education and volunteer service.

According to the agreement, KMU will offer various educational and cultural advantages to Uiseong High School students. First, KMU will offer the opportunity to take foreign language lessons and to see various performances held in the Keimyung Art Center. Also, KMU is planning to give practical help through a mentor program between College of Education students and Uiseong High School students.

The President of the College of Education said, “One of the important policies of our university is to devote time and energy to regional development. We will keep trying our best to give practical help to rural area students.”
