Agreement between KMU Confucius Academy and Daegu Chung-ang Middle and High School


On September 10, the KMU Confucius Institute made an agreement with Daegu Chung-ang Middle and High Schools to provide classes in Chinese language and culture in the library of Chung-ang High School.

The KMU Confucius Institute is run by KMU and Beijing Language and Culture University in China. Moreover, the Ministry of Education of China supports the Institute by supplying high-quality content and excellent Chinese teachers to the KMU Confucius Institute.

Last year Chung-ang High School added Chinese language and culture to the regular curriculum to improve students’ education and international understanding.

Park Jae-chan, the principal of Daegu Chung-ang High School, said, “Through this agreement I want students to become more interested in Chinese culture and know that the information, knowledge, and human and material support comes from the KMU Confucius Academy.”

Holding a Snack Sharing Event for International Students From October 23 to 24, 2023, a snack sharing event was held at KMU's Dong-yeong Hall to cheer for the midterm exams of foreign students.
