Recently, students and professors in Keimyung University’s school-based enterprise Total Design for Bisa (TDB) attended a special event called “Exhibition of International Costume” in Berlin, Germany. The event was part of the celebration of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Germany and held by the Berlin Korean Cultural Center. TDB attracted attention by showing fashion products combined with traditional Korean culture at this exhibition.
At this exhibition, TDB prepared fashion and culture products and showed about 10 works which were inspired by traditional Korean culture and got lots of good responses from interested parties. In particular, TDB received positive attention and evaluations on overall design and reflection of traditional Korean culture in various fashion products such as bags, scarves and ties.
TDB was created from several long-standing, collaborative activities. Also fashion marketing students’ experience with product distribution increased. TDB is a specialized design company that produces fashion items, cultural products and souvenirs.
