KMU Students, Got Scholarship from China Government


Twenty-five Keimyung University students got scholarships from the Chinese government. Twelve students get scholarships for one semester, eight students for one year, and five students get a scholarship to study for a master's degree .

They were selected among brilliant students recommended by all of the Confucius Institutes located in various countries. Students chosen for this program will learn Chinese and Chinese culture in China. They are excused from all tuition and boarding fees, moreover they will get living expenses. On July 25th, the scholars were awarded certificates issued by the Chinese government in Euiyang Hall located on Keimyung University’s Seongseo Campus.

The Confucius Institute at Keimyung University was selected as the most excellent institute at a world conference recently, and Synn Il-hi, the President of Keimyung University, is the first director of this institute’s headquarters in Korea.
