First in Website Accessibility


The homepage of Keimyung University was ranked first in the field of Website accessibility for two years in a row in the evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security to evaluate the Website accessibility of public institutions. Keimyung University got perfect scores in 22 of 27 evaluation items.

Website accessibility is building an accessible environment for disabled people and seniors to utilize the information on the Website without physical or technical difficulties. The evaluation was conducted to help seniors and people who have difficulties in accessing information from Websites by examining their accessibility and suggesting improvements.

Hong Kye-rin, the leader of the IT Operations Team, said, “Through developing and managing the Website, Keimyung ensures accessibility. I’m proud of the Website because it is becoming a benchmark for other institutions. In the second half of this year, we are going to continue to develop the Website. We will try our best to improve the system for the users of the Keimyung Website.
