Web Accessibility Evaluation


Keimyung University won the grand prize in the field of Evaluation of Web Accessibility of Public Institutions two years in a row among 21 universities. In particular, the Keimyung University homepage has improved to be compatible with all Web browsers.

This evaluation was carried out to improve ease of use for the handicapped and elderly by proposing amendments and checking the real condition of the official homepages of public institutions.

Keimyung IT operation manager, Hong Gye-rin, said, "We are increasing the accessibility of the Web through reorganization and management of the homepage. I am proud of making our homepage become the benchmark for other organizations. And I will do my best to improve the homepage systems to be more convenient for users."

Keimyung has consistently improved and developed its homepage since 2009. Also Keimyung has reformed its homepage to expand the accessibility every year.

In addition, Web Accessibility means keeping the Web environment safe to use information everywhere such as web-sites or mobile apps.
