Korean Government Scholarship


Keimyung University has been selected as the only regional university Korean language institute for the Korean Government Scholarship Program. The Korean Government Scholarship Program has been run since 2008, and KMU has been selected as a training institution consistently. Keimyung University has proved a leading institution in Korean language education for foreigners.

Currently, 22 students from 18 countries are learning Korean through the Korean Government Scholarship Program in Keimyung University. In the last 4 years, about 100 foreign students have taken Korean language lessons. Last year, 30 students from Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universitaet Bonn in Germany participated in this program.

KMU has also established Keimyung Korean centers in Mongolia, Tajikistan, and Vietnam. They introduce Korean culture and Korean language education. This year, KMU plans to establish a Keimyung Korean center in the Philippines.
