From November 2 to 4, Keimyung University’s Dongsan Library held the '2011 Dongsan Library Autumn Festival.' The purpose of this festival is to create an atmosphere of reading and establish a reading culture.
On the first day of the festival, there were many events like a seminar given by Kim Yong-taek a poet known for poem 'Seomjingang', a reading quiz, an announcement of a voluntary service conference and so on. Keimyung University students and local residents enjoyed the festival together. Furthermore, the second and third day also had various events like a book discussion, a slogan contest exhibit to make a quiet library and job counseling.
This festival provided a good opportunity to experience a reading culture for local residents.
