English Camp’s Recruitment in Keimyung University


As the summer vacation is nearing, many parents are preparing to find good English camps for their children to attend. For this reason, a large number of English camps are available. Their purpose isn’t only to improve people’s ability in English: these programs can actually make people become proficient at studying English. Also, these programs can not only help students to discover their aptitude and vision, but they can also help to shape their future. The 2011 Summer Elite English Camp in Keimyung University’s Center for Continuing Education will take place at Keimyung University’s Sungseo Campus from July 25th to August 19th. This program has the slogan ‘design your future’, referring to the way we can shape our future as a citizen in the globalized era. The class is designed for improving basic skills of listening, speaking, writing and reading. Practical English classes with various activities and creative scientific experiments with native speakers will take place.

Keimyung University Hosts International Fashion Show Celebrating 125th Anniversary On October 30th, the Department of Fashion Design hosted the International Fashion Show Celebrating Keimyung University’s 125th Anniversary at a special stage in front of the main building on Daemyung Campus. The event featured participation from prestigious fashion institutions, including Donghua University in China, Maranatha Christian University in Indonesia, Ueda College of Fashion in Japan, and the National Institute of Art and Design in Uzbekistan. Under the theme, “Arc,” symbolizing growth and vision, the Fashion Show showcased 94 outfits created by Keimyung University’s Fashion Design
French Exchange Students Cultural Adventure in Daegu On November 8th, 2024, 77 French exchange and study-abroad students participated in a unique cultural excursion in Daegu, sponsored by the DGIEA Korean-Italian Association. The day’s itinerary included a visit to Gunparkrugi Theme Park, an engaging persimmon-picking experience at Songgeum Green Rural Village, and a thrilling rail bike ride. The event provided the students with a meaningful opportunity to immerse themselves in Korea’s cultural and rural heritage while enjoying memorable outdoor activities.
