The Pan-Confucius Institute Conference will take place at Keimyung University’s Seongseo Campus, and Beijing Language and Culture University, on 4th-6th October. This international conference will be attended by fourteen foreign universities’ president and officials, with the new common topic, ‘The new pattern of Pan-Confucius’s development of international cooperation.’ The opening ceremony will be performed by Choi Sang-ho, Vice-President of Keimyung University, and Beijing Language and Culture University’s chief of the academic board, who will announce the topic of the conference. The conference will be conducted in both Chinese and English. Also, in Keimyung’s Hanhak-chon, there will be an event held to experience Korea’s traditional culture.

Pan-Confucius is a non-profit educational organization with the aim to introduce China and Chinese culture all over the world. Keimyung University’s Pan-Confucius Institute will open with its partner, Beijing Language and Culture University, to have the most significant international exchange in China. Also, Keimyung University’s Pan-Confucius is enabling non-governmental interchange between our cultures and increasing goodwill between Korean and China. Park Yong-jin, the Pan-Confucius’s director, said, “This conference not only increases exchange and cooperation but also prepares a new bridgehead in the areas of students, culture and studies.”
